The Marion Coin Club of Marion, Indiana is an organization for collectors of coins, currency, medals, tokens and related
numismatic items. The Club is celebrating its 50th year in 2008.
Special encased uncirculated cents and nickels dated 1958 have been produced for the club's 50th anniversary. Also, a
high grade "slabbed" 1958 type set and 1958 U.S. Proof Set were raffled off with winners announced January
7, 2008.They were: Gary Cross of Anderson and Ray Lockwood of Marion.
Our Mission
The Marion Coin Club of Marion, Indiana meets monthly to educate members about the hobby of coin collecting and promote all
aspects of the hobby. The club meets at the Marion Public Library at 6th & Washington Streets in downtown Marion, IN Meetings
begin at 6:30 P.M. The August and September meetings feature a picnic and annual dinner held at sites to be announced

Organization News
Marion Coin Club's GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY Show was held on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Grant County Fairgrounds
on State Highway 18 East of Marion. Over 400 attended the 9 AM to 4 PM
show. Hourly door prizes were awarded and a raffle for gold and
silver coins was held. The show is an annual event which occurs
on the 4th Saturday in March.
